Many fun events are planned at the Washington County Agricultural Fairgrounds this spring.

March starts off with a bang at the Brownson Cash Bash which will be held from 5-11 p.m. on March 2 in Hall 1. This event is usually a good time for all with large cash prizes, as they enjoy dinner and drinks.

On March 16, the Firearms Owners against Crime will hold their Gun Bash event from 1-6:30 p.m. in Hall 1.

Next up is the Pittsburgh Food Distribution to help those in need.  On March 5 and April 2 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. those in need of food can drive through and have food loaded into their vehicle.

Everyone loves finding a deal on clothes. This year, there will be three days to peruse the large display of gently used clothes at the Little Blessings Dressings consignment sale which will be held from March 7-9. The sale will be open Thurs 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Fri. 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Sat. 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Hall 1

Bubbles anyone? There will be a Giant Bubble show on March 12 with show times at 5 and 7:30 p.m. in the 4-H Junior Building.

There will be a rabbit show during the day on March 17 in Hall 1 and a Trinity Football Cash Bash from 5-10 p.m. on March 23 in Hall 1.

On April 5, a Midget Wrestling event will be held in Hall 2. More details to come later.

On April 6, the Fort Pitt Division Train Collectors Show will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in Hall 1.

The next big event will be the Gun Show on April 13-14 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. in Halls 1, 2 and 4.

For those looking to learn more about agriculture, head to the fairgrounds on April 19 and 20 for the AG Days, to see the Agricultural Educational Exhibit open to the public in Halls 1, 2 and 4. The exhibit will be open on Friday from 2-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

Later in April will feature the Gun and Cash Bash/Spring Fling to benefit the Canonsburg Volunteer Fire Department on April 27 from 9-11 p.m. in Hall 1.

If you are looking for clothing for the kiddos, check out Kid Mania LLC, Kids Seasonal Consignment event on May 3-5 in Halls 1 and 2. The sale will be open Friday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. – 2p.m.

If you are looking to buy a hot tub or spa, there will be a LeisureTime Warehouse Hot Tub and Spa show from May 10-12 in Hall 1. It will be open on Friday from 2-8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

On May 17, enjoy the Chartiers Houston Night at the Races from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. in Hall 1.

Mike’s Minerals is holding a Fossils, Jewelry and Crystals show and sale in Hall 4 from May 18-19. The Show will be open on Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
